The Food Information for Consumers Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011, allergen labelling rules changed in December 2014. New regulations introduced a requirement for allergen information to be provided for all foods sold, whether non-packed or pre-packed for direct sale. This course explains the importance of understanding allergies, allergens, food labelling and warnings on packed food, to dealing with preparing and serving non-packed food.
