Level 1 Principles of Fire Safety Awareness

This 'Principles of Fire Safety Awareness' e-Learning course provides employees with essential knowledge about fire safety - ranging from precautionary measures to prevent fires starting, to what actions to take in the event of a fire breaking out. This course will give you an overview of the main causes and effects of fire in the workplace. You will understand what your role is in preventing fire, and the responsibilities of your employer, fire wardens, and other key staff. You will learn what actions you must take in the event of a fire. Everyone has a responsibility for ensuring that the risk of fire is lessened, and that in the event of a fire every action is taken to minimise injury and loss of life. The duration of this course is 2 hours and can be completed over multiple sessions.
